'Turbulator'
The patented Autotrol Turbulator uses
a water-stream compression device which stirs up the softening
media during the backwash cycle to increase iron removal and
enhance softener efficiency. The Turbulator propels media beads
at high speed to the top of the media bed, then allows them to
settle back to the bottom. Small particles of dirt and iron are
scrubbed from the beads and flow to the drain. The result? Media
beads stay cleaner and last longer.
