GARDENS

WaterMart recommend and use Wingfield micro-irrigation, and carry an extensive range of all kinds of garden micro-irrigation equipment.

Wingfield micro-irrigation has been at the fore-

front of development in the garden irrigation

industry, and all the Wingfield products are of exceptionally high quality, which is the reason WaterMart recommends the product without any reservation, and uses it extensively in installations .

Wingfield micro-irrigation consists of a huge variety of sprays, drippers, micro-sprinklers, and all types of fittings, so that specific garden needs can be easily met.

Usually gardens are operated separately from lawns due to different requirements, and if some gardens vary markedly from other gardens, it is usually a good idea to water them on their own, so that a maximum degree of flexibility can be maintained.

For instance, some gardens consist of areas of ground cover, and it would be hard to drip irrigate each individual plant, so blanket spraying is the obvious answer.

Other gardens have plants that are particularly susceptible to damage from spray irrigation, such as roses, and these are better bottom irrigated so that only the roots are watered and problems are prevented.

Other gardens again are planted with plants that grow quite tall, and to try to keep the irrigation sprays above the plants, so that coverage can be maintained, can be difficult and result in an unsightly system, so in this instance it would be more aesthetic to water the bed with individual drippers or small sprays at the plant base.

Our designers have extensive knowledge of all the different types of micro-irrigation that can be employed, and clients can rest assured that the most appropriate are always used in designs, so that gardens will be a pleasure to behold.
