Wingfield micro-irrigation consists of a huge variety of sprays, drippers, micro-sprinklers, and all types of fittings, so that specific garden needs can be easily met.

Usually gardens are operated separately from lawns due to different requirements, and if some gardens vary markedly from other gardens, it is usually a good idea to water them on their own, so that a maximum degree of flexibility can be maintained.

For instance, some gardens consist of areas of ground cover, and it would be hard to drip irrigate each individual plant, so blanket spraying is the obvious answer.

Other gardens have plants that are particularly susceptible to damage from spray irrigation, such as roses, and these are better bottom irrigated so that only the roots are watered and problems are prevented.

Other gardens again are planted with plants that grow quite tall, and to try to keep the irrigation sprays above the plants, so that coverage can be maintained, can be difficult and result in an unsightly system, so in this instance it would be more aesthetic to water the bed with individual drippers or small sprays at the plant base.
