Reverse Osmosis
utilises the principles of Osmosis, which is a natural organic
process used by trees, plants and flowers to draw water from
the soil.
The water that
is in the soil is a dilute solution. This solution is drawn through
a plant's membranes to the plant sap, because the sap is a more
concentrate solution, through a process called Osmosis.
Reverse Osmosis
uses a pressurised supply to force water molecules through a
membrane, leaving virtually all contaminants behind, which are
automatically flushed to waste whenever the system is operating.
The water becomes
purer, Reverse Osmosis water, with substantially reduced dissolved
solids and contaminants, and this cleaner, purer, refined water
is then stored in a holding tank, ready to be used for all your
family's drinking and cooking requirements.
Of much higher quality than some cheaper
models, the WaterMart Reverse Osmosis system operates until the
storage tank is filled, after which the automatic shut-off suspends
system operation until water is drawn off, after which the system
automatically filters more.
The WaterMart
Reverse Osmosis filter system uses four filtration stages to
ensure that the purified water dispensed from the bench top touch
tap is without taste or odour even if stored for a considerable
period, and the system is capable of providing up to 151 liters
